What's Up With "About Me" Pages?

If you see my images and you like them, how much more do you really need to know about me? I'm not sure if it matters if I'm a dog or a cat person, if I prefer coffee to tea, or if I enjoy long walks on the beach. It seems to me that you come to my website to see if I offer the kind of service, product, or experience that you're looking for. Am I wrong?

My business philosophy is that it's not about me....it's about you. My "style" is your style. I want to shoot what matters to you. I'm not about molding you, your family, or your business into my vision, I'm about capturing your vision. I like to think of myself as well-trained enough to be able to collaborate with you to capture images that are about who you are, what you're about, what you want to say and convey to the world.

If you really must know something more about me, then I'll say that I enjoy the process of getting to know someone. I appreciate the "warming up" process and I have patience for people who need some time before they can relax and reveal their "real" selves. I like small and new people; old and weathered people; casual and formal people. I even like those who are too cool for me...the teen-aged types who glare and roll their eyes and think of me as the buffoon behind the lens.

I shoot headshots, portraits, families, working people, dancers, athletes, performers, musicians...in short, people. I enjoy special occasion portraiture for communions, birthday celebrations, mitzvahs, etc, but I don't shoot events. I do occasionally shoot product and I really love to shoot personal branding stories to help you market yourself online.

I'm on Long Island, but will travel to New York City and portions of upstate New York. Let's talk about commissions for imagery that reflect your personality, your interests, your life or your business.
