Do you do newborn photography?

Yes. I no longer do studio newborns, but I do lifestyle newborns.

What is the difference between "studio" and "lifestyle" newborn photography?

Studio newborn work is what some people refer to as "traditional" newborn photography. The baby is posed on blankets (usually on a giant bean bag) or in props such as baskets, bowls, and other items such a miniature beds or cradles. Studio newborn photographers will often utilize hats, creative wrapping, headbands, or small props. Although other family members may be included, the focus is on the newborn.

Lifestyle photography usually takes place at the client's home. The baby is photographed being held and cuddled by the parents and siblings and usually takes place in various locations in the home...the nursery, the master bedroom, the living room, etc. It often includes images of you feeding, changing or playing with the baby as well. While there are also images of the newborn alone, they are more naturalistic in nature.

Why aren't there many newborn photos on your website?

I am in the process of removing the studio newborns and replacing them with more current lifestyle sessions.

Do you do maternity photos?
